High Molar Weight (>1,000 kDa): Forms a protective film on the skin's surface, providing immediate hydration and a visible "plumping" effect.

Medium Molar Weight (100-1,000 kDa): Balances surface hydration with moderate penetration, ideal for daily use creams.

Low/Ultra-Low Molar Weight (<100 kDa): Penetrates deeply into the layers of the epidermis, stimulating the natural production of collagen and assisting in long-term dermal repair (anti-aging effect).

Key differentiators: Allows the creation of multi-layer hydration systems, where each molecular weight acts at a different depth in the skin.
